The goal of the Council is to identify and review white papers and research for the CABA Information Series, the most authoritative source for technical information in the home and large building automation sectors. All publications will be chosen after rigorous assessment by the Council and then published to the CABA Web site. Examples of CABA's research publications can be found at http://www.caba.org/kilobit. All publications in the CABA Information Series will be made available to CABA's large array of members. "The establishment of this new Council will ensure that the highest quality and greatest quantity of cutting-edge research and information about the industry is located and disseminated amongst our membership," states Ron Zimmer, President & CEO, CABA. "With the advent of the Information Council, CABA expects to increase its research output by 400 per cent, thereby imparting additional value to the membership and the industry." Participation on the Council is voluntary and has already drawn a tremendous amount of interest from industry participants and research analysts alike. Presently, the Council has attracted 19 members.
